CEREMONY AND VR: DIRECTOR’S VISION
Nacho Vigalondo is a Spanish actor, screenwriter and director of films and music videos. He acquired the skill to create 7:35 in the morning, which was nominated for the 2004 Oscars. With his first film, Los Cronocrímenes, he was nominated for best new director by the Spanish Film Academy.
Ceremony is a Virtual Reality fiction, with an original screenplay which was shot in Madrid while Nacho Vigalondo was directing it from Austin (Texas). Viaglondo was supported by Mike Hostench, assistant director of Sitges Film Festival, pioneer in dedicating a specific section to Virtual Reality through the Samsung Sitges Cocoon space, in which audiences can enjoy impressive immersive pieces of fantasy, horror and science fiction cinema.
